I also have a very nice violin that is over 100 years old, but the Moriah gets much more attention! It has a very sweet tone, and is easy to play. I tune the guitar to the Irish tuning of DADGAD, for both strumming and finger style, and the low D resonates nicely. It works well amplified, and recentIy have enjoyed blending the sound it makes with a harp and the instruments compliment each other. John Mark is ready to keep the instrument in good order, and I take it to him for regular check ups. It is wonderful to see how much he cares about his instruments. I believe he thinks it is still his very own!!
